A STRONG MODEL CANNOT SAVE A POORLY DESIGNED AGENT
1 min read
An Agent can use a very strong model and still produce poor results if:
- the task is unclear;
- the Knowledge is messy;
- the Instruction is contradictory;
- the workflow is missing;
- the Tool is unsuitable;
- the output is not defined.
Conversely, a moderate model inside a well-designed Agent can handle stable jobs very effectively.
So when an Agent is not performing well, don’t immediately switch to a more expensive model.
Check first:
Model → Instruction → Knowledge → Data → Tools → Workflow
The error can be in any layer.
