One F68 AI platform. You pay for models directly to the AI provider.
BYOK — Bring Your Own Key lets you connect an API Key that you create yourself at the AI provider that supplies the model, and use that key on F68 AI.
You keep working in the same interface: multi-model AI Chat, AI Agents, Context Control, and multi-AI debate. The difference is that model usage costs are charged by the provider directly to your API account.
F68 AI charges the platform fee.

The two charges are separate.
BYOK is an optional mode. If you do not use your own API Key, you can keep using F68 AI with Credit as you do now.
When should you use BYOK?
BYOK is a good fit when you want to:
- manage model costs yourself, directly with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other AI providers;
- use many models without buying several separate AI Chat plans;
- keep control of your API account, budget, and usage limits at the provider;
- use your own models/API while keeping the AI Chat, AI Agent, AI Fintech environment and the tools of F68 AI;
- receive directly the benefits of token pricing, cached input, or discounts that the provider applies to your own API account.

F68 AI fees
F68 AI charges a platform fee according to the BYOK plan you choose:
- $6.8/month — F68 AI Agent Solutions;
- $50/month — F68 AI Fintech.
Model/API fees
When you use BYOK:
- you use your own API Key;
- model usage is charged to your API account at the provider;
- the provider charges by token, cached input, Tools, or whatever types of usage the provider applies;
- F68 AI does not deduct F68 Credit for model usage that runs on your API Key;
- F68 AI adds no markup to the provider's model/API prices.
A ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini plan for web users is not the same as API Credit. API billing is a separate account and cost with each provider.
Get started with BYOK
- Choose a BYOK plan on F68 AI.
- Create an API Key in the API account of the provider you want to use.
- Turn on billing or top up your balance at the provider if the provider requires it.
- In F68 AI, open Settings → BYOK / API Keys.
- Choose the provider.
- Paste the API Key and click Save.
- Go back to AI Chat or an AI Agent.
- Choose a model from the connected provider and use it as usual.
During the free trial of the $6.8 plan, model/API fees are still charged by the provider directly to your API account.
Managing your API Key safely
- Create a dedicated API Key for F68 AI if the provider lets you create multiple keys.
- Set a spending limit / budget directly at the provider.
- Do not send your API Key through chat, email, Zalo, Telegram, or support requests.
- After saving, F68 AI shows the key only in masked form; it never shows the full value again.
- You can replace the key or delete the key at any time.
- If you suspect the key has been exposed, revoke the key at the provider immediately, then create a new one.

Is BYOK required?
No. BYOK is an optional mode. If you do not want to manage your own API Key, use F68 AI with Credit.
I already have a paid ChatGPT Plus / Claude / Gemini plan. Can I use that plan as an API Key?
No. AI Chat plans for web users and API billing are two separate systems. You need to create an API Key in the provider's API account and turn on billing as that provider requires.
Who charges for the model when I use BYOK?
The model's provider charges your API account directly. F68 AI only charges the platform fee for the BYOK plan you choose.
Does F68 AI add any fee on top of the provider's token/model prices?
No. In BYOK mode, F68 AI adds no markup to the provider's model/API prices.
Is F68 Credit deducted for the model when I use BYOK?
No. Model usage that runs on your API Key is charged directly by the provider. F68 Credit is not deducted for that model usage.
How is caching charged when I use BYOK?
Caching still follows the policy of the provider and model you use. If the provider applies cached-input pricing, the cost benefit is recorded directly on your API account.
Can I change or delete my API Key?
Yes. Open Settings → BYOK / API Keys, choose the provider, then use Replace key or Delete key.
What should I check first if my API Key shows an error?
Check:
- whether the key was copied with extra whitespace;
- whether the key is still valid or has been revoked;
- whether the API account has billing turned on or still has a balance;
- whether the key has access to the selected model;
- whether the provider is rate limiting or having an outage.
Does the 1-month free trial include model fees?
No. The free trial applies to the F68 AI Agent Solutions platform fee of $6.8/month. Model/API fees are still charged by the provider directly to your API account.
Does the $50/month plan have a free trial?
No. The 1-month free trial only applies to the F68 AI Agent Solutions $6.8/month plan.
