FAILURE BEHAVIOR
1 min read
The Agent needs to know what to do when it cannot complete the task.
This is a part that often gets forgotten.
For example:
FAILURE RULES:
If important data is missing:
- Do not guess.
- State clearly what data is missing.
- Analyze only within what can be confirmed.
If a Tool fails:
- State clearly that the Tool returned no data.
- Do not simulate the Tool’s result.
If the request is out of scope:
- State the limit clearly.
A good Agent is not one that always answers.
A good Agent must know when not to conclude.
