PRINCIPLES FOR COMPILING F68 TEMPLATES
1 min read
Do not copy the source file as-is.
Each template needs to:
Keep
- good workflow;
- methodology;
- rule;
- checklist;
- failure behavior;
- output pattern.
Remove
- Claude-specific;
- slash command;
- specific MCP connector;
- unnecessary code;
- platform-specific Tool names;
- repo-specific metadata.
Replace with placeholders
[YOUR_METHOD]
[YOUR_SOURCE_POLICY]
[YOUR_DATA_SOURCE]
[YOUR_OUTPUT]
[YOUR_RULE]
so users know exactly which parts need adjusting.
Before releasing a version adapted from a specific source, the license of the corresponding repo/file must be checked.
The Template section is not meant to provide a complete Agent.
It solves one simple problem:
Building from a blank page is very hard.
A good template shows users right away:
How an Agent can be structured, which part is Instruction, which part is Knowledge, and what they need to change to turn it into their own Agent.
